After-School Classes for Children Aged 8-11 in Pattaya

For younger children the goal is not competition. It is a supervised, friendly place to play with other kids their age, learn to take turns and communicate, and build good habits around screens early.

Students in a coached esports class at Squid Esports Pod Pattaya

What the class is like for this age group

  • 90 minutes with breaks, not a marathon session
  • Maximum eight children per coach, so every child is seen
  • Fixed small teams, so friendships form instead of shuffling every week
  • Age-appropriate games and supervised communication at all times
  • All PCs and headsets provided, nothing to bring

What they learn first

At 8 to 11 the priority is the basics: listen to a teammate, say something useful back, follow a simple plan, and handle losing a round without giving up. Game mechanics come along the way rather than being the point.

Coaches also introduce warm-ups, breaks, posture and the idea that you stop when the session stops. Learning that at nine is much easier than negotiating it at fifteen.

What families say

My son absolutely loves it at SQUID eSports in Pattaya! As a mum, I was just looking for a safe place for his hobby, but it's turned into something so much better.

Times that suit a primary-school week

The earlier 16:45 weekday slots and the 10:00 weekend slots usually suit this age group best. Later 18:30 slots tend to work better for teens.

Frequently asked questions

Is eight too young?

Eight is our minimum age, and children this age do well in the earlier slots with the smaller group format.

Can a parent stay during the class?

Yes, parents are welcome to stay for the first session.

What if my child has never played these games?

That is normal at this age. Coaches start from the basics and pair beginners carefully.

How much screen time does this add?

One 90-minute coached class a week, with breaks. Coaches teach stopping points and balance as part of the session.
