About Squid Esports Pod Pattaya
An accredited esports academy at Wonderspace Pattaya, run by Squid Esports Thailand for players aged 8 to 17.
What we do
Squid Esports Pod Pattaya is a training centre where young players learn competitive gaming the way a sports club teaches football: with a set curriculum, a coach in the room, and clear goals each term.
We teach the Squid Academy curriculum, which is certified by Education Alliance Finland. Classes run for 90 minutes, groups are capped at eight players per coach, and every student starts with a free trial class so parents can see a real session before paying anything.
Alongside game skill, sessions cover communication, teamwork, decision-making under pressure, healthy screen habits and English practice, because most of what happens in a match is talking to your team.

How we got here
Squid Esports Thailand delivers the Squid Academy programme in Thailand. The Pattaya Pod is our local home for it.
2023
Curriculum certified in Finland
Education Alliance Finland certified the Squid Academy curriculum after reviewing it against learning-science standards.
September 2025
The Pattaya Pod opens
We opened inside Wonderspace Pattaya on 2 September 2025, starting with Valorant classes.
Since then
More games, more classes
Counter-Strike 2 and Fortnite followed, plus weekend classes, school programmes, holiday camps and local tournaments.
Inside the Pod
Purpose-built gaming stations, tournament-grade PCs and peripherals, and coaches on the floor during every session.
Independently accredited
Education Alliance Finland, an independent Finnish evaluator of learning products, certified the Squid Academy curriculum in 2023. It is the same standard used to review classroom learning tools, which is why our classes have lesson plans and learning goals rather than free play.

Your coaches in Pattaya
Classes at the Pattaya Pod are taught by our local coaching team. We are adding their profiles to this page shortly. In the meantime, here is what every coach on our floor is held to:
- Trained on the Squid Academy curriculum before teaching a class
- Never more than eight students per coach, so nobody is left watching
- Teaches in English, with Thai support available
- Focused on communication and teamwork, not just aim and rank
- Happy to talk with parents before or after any session

The best way to judge us is a free trial class. Book one, sit in, and talk to the coach afterwards.
